An update from the community policing team

Good Afternoon All,

After attending some Community Councils this week, I have been asked to communicate some information for use on your social media pages / residents forums. It would be great to see the intel links being used to help solve local community issues that have been highlighted during Community Council Meetings. I’m aware that I’ve already sent the intel information however it would be great to see it online!

Police rely on local intelligence to progress with their investigations and solve crime.

Every time you contact Police it is logged on Police systems and the more information we receive, the better intelligence picture we can build.

If you have any information or have seen anything suspicious in your area, please contact Police on 101 (Non-Emergency) or via our online Contact Us Form (

Alternatively, you can report this anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website (

Useful Pages to Share

The below links have fantastic information that can be shared on social media, they also have images you can post too. Can I also point out that posting addresses on social media can be dangerous and to be mindful of potential repercussions (highlighting the property is empty, highlighting where someone is when they are trying to stay hidden).
