ENCC and the Esk Rivers

Note that a Facebook page ENCC Esk River Improvement has been set up to record how ENCC is engaging with ERIG (the Esk River Improvement Group). It will gather community concerns and ideas for action to improve the health of the Esk Rivers. Please interact with it to share views and express concerns, and to raise matters that we can put as questions to ERIG.

(it flows through ENCC ward down to Glenesk Viaduct then forms our boundary down to the footbridge in Ironmills Park)

Note that we also sponsor and promote the Riverfly on the Esk citizen science (voluntary) river monitoring group which is one of the local projects environmentalist Rebecca Lewis, a member of ENCC, helps organise and train.
