We have received the following regarding the Eskbank and Ironmills Conservation Area from Midlothian Council’s Planning Directorate:
We’re looking for your views on new planning guidance for Eskbank & Ironmills Conservation Area. A public consultation on draft Conservation Area Character Appraisal and Management Plan for the conservation area is open until 18th February 2022. The CACAMP is a non-statutory form of planning guidance. Its aim is to highlight the significance of a conservation area in terms of its built environment and history, and to provide a framework for managing change within the area.
The Conservation Area Character Appraisal and Management Plan is available to view online. If you have any comments, please email them to conservation@midlothian.gov.uk by Friday 18th February 2021.
